Located on the Costa Mesa and Irvine border sits Lion and Lamb, a year-old coffee shop owned by Rick and Rosie Wheeler. Their menu offers classic, traditional coffee items such as cortados, cappuccinos, and lattes. While also offering a wide range of specialty drinks, curated by the owners themselves. The shop is located inside Watermark Church. While the shop itself is shared with the church, the secluded portion of the cafe is beautifully decorated with pink murals and plants. Finding parking was relatively easy, since the church has a huge parking lot. There is a small selection of indoor and outdoor seating available for customers as well.
I ordered the iced salted toffee latte with oat milk. The drink itself was perfectly flavored and sweetened. The espresso had a perfect balance between the chocolate, cherry and stone fruit notes that were listed in the blend. Overall, it was a solid drink and experience. Will for sure be coming back for more!
