Step aside Starbucks, Philz is the superior coffee chain.

Philz Coffee is notorious for their plethora of coffee blends. After visiting 4 different locations throughout the years, it has become one of my favorite coffee shops. Unlike most coffee shops, Philz does not offer espresso-based drinks at their stores. Double shots, macchiatos, cortados, cappucinos, and lattes are not available at any Philz coffee shop. Philz only proudly serves hot or iced drinks of their various coffee blends. Each blend on the menu is followed by the different notes that the blend has. Pictured below is their famous and most popular blend, Tesora, with notes of caramel, nuts, and butter. For non-coffee drinkers, Philz also offers a wide range of different teas.

My go-to order at Philz is the iced Tesora, sweet and creamy. The best part about Philz is the customizations of each drink. Though I order my drink sweet and creamy, each customer is able to adjust the sweetness, sweetener, and milk to their liking!

Philz also has a number of “secret menu” drinks such as the Silken Splendor or the Oatmeal Cookie. There’s something for everyone!
