Joshua Tree Coffee Company was one coffee shop I specifically sought out for on my trip to the national park. Despite its good rep, this coffee shop fell short for me. It is located on the main street of Joshua Tree, close to other gift shops and the Crochet museum. Due to covid, there was not much seating available, nor was the storefront open either. Right next to the cafe, they had a tent with the cashier to take our order, and they would bring out the drinks after they were ready. Joshua Tree Coffee Company is safely following the COVID-19 guidelines, which I appreciate.
The drink menu of this place only featured the basic espresso based coffees, not any specialty drinks. I ordered an Iced Latte. Personally, the espresso was too bold for my liking, so I thought adding extra oat milk would tame the flavor and intensity, however it watered down the coffee even more. Though it was refreshing for a hot day in Joshua Tree, I will not be purchasing from them again.
